„For quarantine carousel I’ve asked friends, who are currently spending their isolation forced by global circumstances, for short video contributions to my project. They should film themselves turning around themselves in their flat in front of a window – humming, whistling or singing a catshy tune that’s on their mind.
They are spinning in Vienna, Berlin, Nesodden, Liverpool, Tokyo, Stockholm and Ensuès-La Redonne.“

In einem zufälligen Wechselspiel von Bild und Sound, örtlich voneinander getrennt, improvisieren Mutt und Mayr mit Gitarre, Snare Drum, Transducer und Geige. Inspiriert vom Erwachen der Blumen, suchend nach Forsythien – eine musikalische gemeinsame Reise in Isolation.

is a variation of the film „solar mechanix“, an ongoing project about the processing of images comprising phenomenons of direct glare and reflections. These images are transformed, applying the essence of the representing pictures in an interplay of light and colour. The light phenomenons turn into sensual geometric objects that interact with the sound track. The different points of views and perspectives initiates the main structure for the film. As a self contained piece it now follows it’s own rhythm and explores new forms or experiences in a disconnected audio-visual space. Through this process the film is able to trigger emotional sensations.

Im zweiten salonkonzertAV wurde das historische Wiener Admiralkino mit einer Live-Komposition für Notebooks, Gitarre, Stimme und Turntable bespielt. Modell Doo konfrontierten ihre sounds mit einer vieldeutigen Bildmontage des Künstlerduos Lampalzer/Oppermann.
„Inspirationsumsatz. Ein Tauchgang nach Bedeutung. Sammeln, Ordnen, Umwandeln, Aufladen. Eine Jagd im Stillstand. Man erkennt Muster an ihrer Abweichung oder ihrer minimalen Bewegung vor dem Hintergrund. Man hält sich genau an der Grenze zwischen Bekanntem und Unbekanntem auf. Sucht man nach etwas Bestimmtem, findet man nichts Neues, sucht man zu allgemein, kann man nichts erkennen.“
