Moir/Coudoux duo draws on the extensive sound spectres of the voice and cello in free improvisations, mixing wild abandon with thoughtful precision in the layering of sounds that sees textures emerge, tensions arise, contrasts flow and subtleties surface. Breathing and moving symbiotically in the music of the moment, they are simultaneously autonomous yet decidedly interconnected in sound and space.

*** The Thing from the Deep // Felix Helmut Wagner [Performance]

In his performance The Thing from the Deep, Wagner embodies The Outsideness – 

a being that seems to have arrived from another star.

Through voice, sound, and movement, it seeks to navigate the world of humans. With gestural curiosity, the figure explores patterns of behaviour – as if attempting to physically grasp the essence of being human, without ever fully entering it. Everyday objects from the human world become gateways to understanding – like remnants of a foreign logic, which The Outsiderness playfully questions, mimics, or transforms in a clownesque way.

wasser holen, große mengen. erhitzen auf dem feuer – stunden. einweichen der wäsche, bedecken mit pottasche, überbrühen mit sodalauge, bleuen, bürsten, reiben, stampfen, spülen, bleichen, stärken, wringen, aufhängen, ausbessern, strecken, mangeln und bügeln.

löcher bohren, haken befestigen, seil spannen. audiogeräte und instrumente transportieren, aufbauen, aufhängen, hinlegen, anbringen, positionieren. diskutieren. besprechen. hören, zeit nehmen, verändern, verschieben. auftreten. zum klingen bringen.
